Job Description and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Learning and Development, the incumbent of this position will be responsible for the scoping, design, development, project management, implementation and evaluation of IT training programs, corporate applications training and IT project training support.
- Collaborate with the various IT project teams to scope, identify training needs, recommend solutions and manage the implementation of training solutions;
- Be a 2nd line of support for MS Office issues, SharePoint and Navigational JDE;
- Scope, design and facilitate custom Webinars on the MS Office suite, SharePoint, JDE navigation and other corporate applications;
- Develop and/or adapt training program and documentation for an organizational fit;
- Be the liaison between the various IT teams and Learning and Development team;
- Design and/or review and/or adapt learning tools such as learner guides, facilitator guides, job aids, learning tools and quick reference guides;
- Oversee and support the training of corporate applications :
- Consult and support subject matter experts and internal trainers;
- Review and ensure that documentation and training programs respect L & D guidelines;
- Identify deployment, evaluation and support strategy;
- Adapt existing and new training programs for various media (web, self-paced learning etc);
- Determine the IT training workshops for the annual calendar based on identified needs;
- Support and coach internal IT trainers in designing and delivering training activities;
- Manage IT Training and change management projects (ie: timeline, internal and external resources, budget);
- Negotiate and manage agreements with external training suppliers;
- Deliver and/or ensure the delivery of classroom and web conference training activities;
- Evaluate learning interventions including training transfer and business impact;
- Support their manager and team in their special projects.

Experience Requirements
- A University Degree in computer science, information technology, adult education or related discipline;
- Diploma in a learning discipline;
- Being certified CTDP or other IT specific discipline would be an asset;
- 5 years experience in a similar position in a large organization;
- Outstanding facilitation and feedback giving skills;
- Experience training on corporate applications: JDE, Microsoft CRM, SharePoint, internal custom systems;
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written French and especially oral and written English;
- Mastery of office applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Acrobat Writer and Visio;
- Experience using educational technology tools (Captivate, Articulate, WebEx etc);
- Initiative, entrepreneurship and ability to adapt to change;
- Track record of working effectively in a team, networking, partnering and influencing stakeholders and maintaining harmonious work relationships at all hierarchical levels;
- Excellent ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure;
- Have led or participated in the implementation of IT systems;
- Ability to synthesize and put theory into practice;
- Recognized for their positive attitude, tact, diplomacy, discretion and good humor.
