Job Description and Responsibilities
- This position is primarily responsible for image of the centre. The main focus will be ensuring a high level of cleanliness for the exterior. Daily responsibilities include; garbage removal, litter pick, and other exterior tasks. Other responsibilities include preventive/corrective maintenance on building equipment and related systems, responding to tenant service requests and the daily monitoring and control of various building systems (plumbing, electrical, lighting, fire and life safety systems). A secondary function of this position is to assist the Marketing and Specialty Leasing departments with their promotions. Emergency standby duties are an integral part of this role (on call after hours for emergency and alarms).
The ability to work evenings and weekends on a rotating shift is required based on the operating hours of the centre. Flexible work hours to complete projects and on-call coverage after business hours are also a requirement, as well as other duties and tasks as required.

Experience Requirements
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, a good understanding of trades, (carpentry, painting, drywall, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) are required. Other requirements include basic computer skills, a demonstrated mechanical aptitude, well developed interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to resolve problems independently and carry out duties under minimal supervision.
