Ivanhoe Cambridge has been present in the Brazilian market since 2006, through its affiliate Ancar Ivanhoe, a domestic real estate firm with in-depth expertise in the country’s booming shopping centre industry. The Company co-owns a number of shopping centres and development projects jointly with Ancar.
In 2009, Ivanhoe Cambridge opened a business office in Rio de Janeiro, from where it can monitor its investments in Brazil and look for opportunities in Latin America.
